- Locate the reset button hole on the O2 XDA Exec unit.
- Use the stylus tip to lightly press the reset button. The pocket PC will restart and display the Today screen.
Performing a Hard Reset on an O2 XDA Exec
A full reset is sometimes referred to as a hard reset. Perform a full reset when you want to clear all settings, programs and data from RAM.
Caution if you perform a full reset, your XDA returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM.
- With the device open, press the two soft keys together while pressing in the reset button on the back of the unit with your stylus.
- You should see a screen that says "Press 0 to reset to factory defaults or X to exit." Press 0 to confirm the factory reset.
