Performing a Hard Reset on a HTC Evo 3D
A full reset is sometimes referred to as a hard reset. Perform a full reset when you want to clear all settings, programs and data from RAM.
Caution if you perform a full reset, your HTC Evo 3D returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM.
The most convenient way to do a factory reset is via the phone settings. To perform a hard reset from phone settings:

and tap Settings > SD & phone storage > Factory data reset > Reset phone.
To perform a hard reset using the phone buttons
- With the device turned off, press and hold the volume button down, and then press
.
- When the device’s display turns on, release the volume button.
- Use the volume button to select FACTORY RESET, and then press
. (All data will be deleted from the device.)
