Performing a Hard Reset on a HTC Monet
A full reset is sometimes referred to as a hard reset. Perform a full reset when you want to clear all settings, programs and data from RAM.
Caution if you perform a full reset, your HTC pocket PC returns to its default settings and looses all information that is not recorded in ROM.
- Press down the two soft keys.
- Whilst holding the two soft keys, press the power button.
- Release the power button.
- Keep holding the two soft keys until the screen asks you to press '0' key to reset to factory default.
- Press '0' within the timeout period and the device will reset.
