Performing a Normal (Soft) Reset on a Asus MyPal m530w
A normal reset is sometimes referred to as a soft reset. A normal reset stops all running applications but does not erase any programs or saved data.
Caution be sure to save any unsaved data before performing a normal reset since a normal reset erases all unsaved data.
To perform a soft reset:
- On the Home screen, press Start > Tools > Default Settings.
- Enter '1234' to confirm you want to restore default settings and press OK.
- The phone will restart automatically after it has been reset.
Occasionally, you may need to restart your phone; for example, when a program is not performing properly or the phone does not respond to key presses.
To restart the phone:
- Remove the battery.
- Reinsert the battery and turn on your phone.
